The main goal of our program is to train and inspire undergraduate students to pursue social science academic studies and careers in policy research, with a particular focus on immigration, asylum and border issues. In particular, we seek to generate new knowledge that can be helpful in documenting the negative impacts of immigration policies for migrants, asylum seekers and residents of border communities, while highlighting alternative perspectives and policy proposals.
